Analtech, Inc., the only North American manufacturer of Thin Layer Chromatography plates and accessories launched a new tool on its web site that allows millions of visitors from around the world to view the site in their native language.
The company added the new Google Translate gadget to its web site, allowing visitors to choose to view the site in English, Spanish, Arabic, German, Mandarin Chinese, Portuguese, Italian, and more than a dozen other languages.
Since the launch of the new Analtech.com web site, Analtech, Inc. has enjoyed visits and inquiries from every part of the world.

"We have been cultivating relationships with our International customers for years," said Steven Miles, General Manager of Analtech, Inc. "This tool is going to allow us to strengthen those relationships and develop new relationships at a much faster pace."
A recent review of data collected from those who visit www.Analtech.com showed people from more than 70 countries on six continents have come to the site since its launch in January.
"It's good to know that all of our visitors are now going to have the option to learn more about Thin Layer Chromatography in the language of their choice," Miles said. "I hope students, lab techs, and scientists around the world are able to use this to their benefit."
Rebecca Faber, Executive Director of World Trade Center Delaware said this is a great step small companies around the world should consider.
"WTC Delaware applauds Analtech's incorporation of the Google Translate gadget into their website as a first step in their global marketing efforts," said Faber. "While web-based translation services are usually not 100% reliable in terms of catching idioms and local terms, they are an excellent tool for small companies who want to make sure their product and/or service is translated around the world."
Leandro Solorzano, International Trade Specialist with the U.S. Department of Commerce, said the new tool can make a real difference in the company's international presence.
"Since language can often be a barrier in international trade, having a website available in different languages demonstrates Analtech's commitment to their international customers and proactive business development," said Solorzano.
Brian Sowards, Head of Marketing for the Delaware Film Company and the designer of Analtech's new web site, said adding the new tool to the web site was a natural move.
"It's always exciting when our clients embrace one of the many powerful tools available online," Sowards said. "Having designed Analtech's site from the ground up to support an international clientele, we're quite proud to see them take the next step to being truly accessible to a global audience with the Google Translator tool."
Steven Miles said this new tool couldn't have come at a better time. "With the filming complete on our new viral video, the launch of our new product line, and our increased efforts in education and International trade - coming across this tool helps us better communicate globally is extremely providential."
Since 1961 Analtech has been manufacturing quality thin layer chromatography plates, providing friendly and expert technical assistance and helping customers solve real problems with real solutions.
